Daniel is born in Montevideo (Uruguay) on August 15th, 1931. Following his graphic arts' vocation, he begins to learn oil painting by himself when he was 45 years old.
He had the opportunity to meet famous Uruguayan painters during art gallery auctions organized by the Uruguayan National Bank (BROU) in 1979, at that time he was a BROU employee.
Looking for a judgment of his oil paintings, he met the Uruguayan painter Olegario VILLALBA. He recognized Daniel's graphic art skills and proposed him to integrate the art studio of Edgardo RIBEIRO NARIO, a famous Uruguayan graphic artist.
In 1980, Daniel started graphic art studies under the leadership of Edgardo, following the line of Joaquín TORRES GARCIA.
In 1987, in a search of further improvement of his skills, he continued his studies with Manuel R. DELIOTTI until Manuel's death.
In 2011, he opens his own Facebook page in order to share his paints in the social network and also share ideas with other international painters
Currently, Daniel individually pursues his artistic work in a continuous search of a greater creativity.
